Bridgeport Animal Control is asking for help tonight finding a forever home for one of their very special residents.
Ted is a 5-year-old dog that has been staying in the shelter since last summer, longer than any other guest.
Chief Animal Control Officer Jennifer Merenda hopes somebody will see Ted and make him part of their family.
"We started to realize that Ted was falling through the cracks and was becoming kind of invisible to our adopter pool for some reason and we had to do something,” Merenda said. "He's got a great temperament; he loves everybody he meets.
Anyone interested in adopting Ted should contact Bridgeport Animal Control at 203-576-7727
