Bridgeport Hospital held its fourth Ebola drill Wednesday.
The drill involved a fake patient presented with suspected Ebola. Medical staff practiced unloading the patient from the ambulance and bringing him to an isolation room. The patient can then communicate to doctors through a camera from the isolation room.
The doctors and nurses used real procedures to practice protocol on what to do if a real patient with Ebola symptoms came to the hospital.
Hospital staff will hold a meeting Thursday to debrief on what they learned from the drill and what can be done better. Bridgeport Hospital emphasizes this was just a drill and that they have not treated anyone with Ebola symptoms.
