The Bridgeport man accused of killing his parents and dumping their bodies on a vacant property in Weston was back in court for a hearing today.
Kyle Navin and his girlfriend are accused of killing Navin's parents, Jeffrey and Jeanette Navin, for their money.
The Easton couple disappeared in early August of last year and their bodies were not found for about three months.
Court documents say weeks before the Navins' disappearance, Kyle had texted his girlfriend about the car they could buy if his parents "just went away."
The case has been continued to Jan. 12. Court officials say Navin will have until then to choose whether to accept the state's plea deal or go to trial.
