Accused drug lord Juan Marrero, who is facing drug conspiracy charges, reportedly told the FBI that a Connecticut official had incriminating videotape of Bridgeport?s mayor. According to the Connecticut Post, prosecutors filed documents in federal court that named Mayor John Fabrizi (D-Bridgeport) in connection with a drug case. The report said Democratic town committee member Shawn Fardy, who has been indicted for his role in a cocaine ring, had a videotape of the mayor using the drug. However, U.S. Attorney Kevin O?Connor says the mayor is not a target of an investigation and says the information should not have come out in that manner. The mayor has not been arrested or charged with any crime.
