Mayor John Fabrizi (D-CT), is scheduled to discuss city issues, quality of life, and public safety in his address to the Bridgeport City Counsel Monday.

Just three months after his public drug confession, Fabrizi says it is time to focus on the city. He says he plans to discuss improvements like the fire department. Fabrizi says changes in the city postage system and contract re-negotiations have already saved the city $20 million.

Although Fabrizi says his focus is to make Bridgeport a better place to live, the recent spike in Bridgeport crime leaves many residents with doubt.
