Bridgeport medical center hosts COVID-19 vaccine clinic for kids 5 to 11

St Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport hoped to vaccinate up to 300 children Saturday at one of their first vaccine clinics for kids ages 5 to 11 years old.
For many children at the vaccine clinic, there wasn't much of a fuss to get the vaccine.
Children ages 5 to 11 were eligible to get the Pfizer vaccine, which is a lower dosage than what adults receive.

News 12 Connecticut got to speak with one 11-year-old from Milford who rolled up his sleeve to get the shot.
Logan Rodrigues said he wanted to get the vaccine because he wants to get back to normal, like how it was in 2019.
St. Vincent's Medical Center administered the vaccine to this age group until 4 p.m.
