A man is facing several charges after Bridgeport police say he was caught with a large quantity of fentanyl following a police chase.

According to police, a black BMW was spotted driving recklessly at several locations last Thursday and refused to pull over when officers attempted to stop it. The vehicle eventually crashed, and the driver attempted to flee.

Jose Guillermo Rosado was taken into custody and allegedly found with over 1,000 pre-packaged doses of fentanyl.

He is being held on $150,000 bond.
