Bridgeport police are searching for whoever killed a former New Haven police officer discovered dead in a driveway yesterday.
Detectives say Kenneth Console, 42, was found face down and bloody on Bond Street early yesterday morning.
Officials say that autopsy results show that the cause of death was blunt force trauma to the head.
Some community members are also criticizing how police handled the investigation, saying they were disturbed when they walked past the area and could see the body on the ground.
