Bridgeport police are asking for the public's helping finding a missing man who is diabetic.
The family of 49-year-old Christopher Harris, who goes by Scott, says given the weather and his medical history, they are extremely worried for his safety.
Harris was recently hospitalized for a week.
The family says Harris called from a landscaping job in Greenwich around 5 p.m. last Wednesday and said he would be home in a half an hour. They say he never came home.
City Councilman Ernie Newton has been going door-to-door getting the word out about Harris' disappearance in the East End.
Police have issued a missing persons alert.
If you have any information call 203-576-TIPS.
