Bridgeport Rescue Mission urges community to 'Stuff-A-Truck' with donations for food insecure families

The Bridgeport Rescue Mission hosted its annual Stuff-A-Truck event and needs the public's help by providing nonperishable donations for those who are food insecure in Fairfield County.

The Bridgeport Rescue Mission hosted its annual Stuff-A-Truck event and needs the public's help by providing nonperishable donations for those who are food insecure in Fairfield County.
The Mission is asking the community to take part in the food drive to help feed hungry families and individuals throughout coastal Fairfield County.
For anyone who was unable to head out to Stop & Shop Tuesday, people can drop off donations at the Bridgeport Rescue Mission's warehouse on Connecticut Avenue from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. 
Patrons can donate at these Stop & Shop locations:
  • 1160 Kings Highway Cutoff in Fairfield
  • 4531 Main St. in Bridgeport
  •  2145 Fairfield Ave. in Bridgeport
