Bridgeport police say a 47-year-old man was injured in a shooting Thursday night.

Police say the man suffered a wound to his thigh but that it is not considered life-threatening.

Officers say he told them it happened on Artic Street and that he walked to a home on Maple Street before asking for help.

Anyone with information is urged to call Bridgeport police.
