City officials redesignated the corner of Stratford Avenue and Baldwin Street as Bishop Ronnie Brayboy Way.
Brayboy, the pastor of The House of God Community Church, tells News 12 he was humbled by the honor.
Brayboy was born in South Carolina, but has spent most of his life in Bridgeport.
