A Bridgeport music teacher who police say drove to New York to tryst with a teen he met online was arrested Tuesday when the fictional 15-year-old boy turned out to be an undercover detective.
Detectives on Long Island say for several weeks Patrick Lombardo, 47, of 225 Goldenhill St., sent the would-be victim sexually explicit messages and made arrangements to meet.
Lombardo was arrested in a sting operation at an undisclosed location and was charged with two counts of distributing indecent material to a minor and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
He was arraigned Wednesday at First District Court in Hempstead, New York. Lombardo is due back in court Friday.
