Bridgeport teacher partners with former student to create serenity circle at Columbus School

Bridgeport superintendent Mike Testani and Sen. Richard Blumenthal applauded a teacher Saturday for helping to bring a serenity circle to her campus.
Chrissy McCabe and 29-year-old Jermaine Brookshire were honored at Columbus School.
McCabe says Brookshire used to be one her students, and now he's a successful attorney who donated the money to build a serenity circle at the school.
McCabe tells News 12 the serenity circle is a great resource during the pandemic.
She thanked Home Depot of Stratford and realtor Michael Forizs for making the gift possible.
