A Bridgeport teen says he fears for his life after he was attacked for being gay.
Sixteen-year-old Philip Galbert says he was walking from a store on Connecticut Avenue to his church with two friends when two men started shouting names at him, including the slur "faggot." He says the two men followed behind him on their bicycles. When he and his friends reached the church, Galbert says one of the men swung at him, hitting him in the eye.
The teen says he called police, filed a police report and went to Bridgeport Hospital.
