The City of Bridgeport is about to embark on the Black Rock Streetscape Project.

As part of the project, two sections of Fairfield Avenue will be improved. It includes new sidewalks, bump-outs, new crosswalks and new bus shelters.

The project is expected to be completed in the spring.
