A ribbon-cutting was held for Greenwich Brewing Company on Friday.
It's the town's first brewery.
The founders tell News 12 that 10 Greenwich families came together to create the restaurant and brought something to the town that they believed was desperately missing.
The goal is to create a family-friendly affordable establishment.
Customers can order smash burgers, wings and Nashville hot fried chicken.
Most items are priced under $20.
By early October, there will be nine beers in rotation.
"Bring your family and you can have a good time. You know, it's casual atmosphere you can hang out and just have fun. And when you look at beer that we're putting out versus some of the mega produced beer, it's just a lot of care and love is put into our beer," says founder Randy Kemka.
