The Bronx Science girls soccer team was looking for its first trip to the City Final 4 in five years by taking on Mackee-Tech from Staten Island in the "L" bracket final.
Bronx Science trailed early in the second half 2-0 but fought back, making it a 2-1 game. Despite their efforts, Mackee-Tech was too strong. Bronx Science was eliminated by a score of 3-1.
The coach for Bronx Science said he has great players and contends the team will come back stronger next season.
