A Brooklyn man was found guilty for the murder of tech CEO Fahim Saleh in 2020, officials announced.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg Jr. announced 25-year-old Tyrese Haspil was found guilty of murder and two counts of grand larceny among other charges.

Saleh hired Haspil as his entrepreneurial assistant in May 2018. Prosecutors say Haspil then started stealing from his employer. When confronted, Haspil started looking for ways to kill his boss, officials say.

In July 2020, Haspil stabbed Saleh multiple times.

He is expected to be sentenced in September.
