A brush fire broke out along the Norwalk River on Friday.
Firefighters responded to Oyster Shell Park around 1:30 p.m.
A marine unit was training on the river and was able to travel to the fire to help extinguish it.
Crews were able to get the fire under control around 2 p.m.
The cause of the fire is undetermined.
