A national organization that helps sexual assault victims is pleading for help at a local fundraiser tonight.
Callisto is a nonprofit organization that allows survivors to anonymously document sexual assault on college campuses.

Jess Michaels is from Newtown and is also a 1991 survivor of sexual assault by Jeffrey Epstein. In 2015 Jess joined Dylan's Wings of Change, a foundation dedicated to Dylan Hockley, a Sandy Hook victim. Jess connected the value of shame-free, community-based early trauma intervention to the needs of sexual assault survivors. Epstein's 2019 arrest motivated her to confront her past. Breaking her silence and help Callisto. Callisto says an estimated 1 in 4 female students, 1 in 15 male students, and 1 in 5 transgender, nonbinary, or genderqueer students are sexually assaulted during their college years.
Callisto's fundraiser is tonight at a private home in Darien and without the funding they may have to close their doors.
