Capacity restrictions loosen at CT amusement parks, baseball fields, concert venues

COVID-19 capacity restrictions will be lifted today at Connecticut amusement parks, baseball fields and concert venues, Gov. Ned Lamont announced.

COVID-19 capacity restrictions will be lifted today at Connecticut amusement parks, baseball fields and concert venues, Gov. Ned Lamont announced.
Outdoor amusement parks can open at full capacity.
Quassy will open on April 24, and Lake Compounce will open May 8 because of construction.
Amphitheaters and other event venues can open today. The new Bridgeport amphitheater at the home of the former Bridgeport Bluefish is slated to open next month with several college graduations.
Stadiums and racetracks can move up to 50 percent capacity with a cap of 10,000 people.
Indoor stadiums can open at 10 percent capacity.
Lamont stresses masks and social distancing will continue.
Lamont says planning for summer camps and summer festivals can also begin.
