Captain's Cove Seaport in the Black Rock section of Bridgeport has been offering family fun, food and entertainment along the water for over three decades.
It serves as a restaurant with over 200 outdoor dinning seats, and a bar and an entertainment center with live music on the largest boardwalk in the state.
The seaport is also home to 400 boat slips.
Specialty foods prepared at the restaurant include their famous fish and chips, and of course, lobster rolls.
The boardwalk also features 19 shops inside of buildings designed after Victorian-area houses.
Locals say Tabatha's ice cream shop is one of their favorites.
Tabatha's features 40 flavors of ice cream, including coconut, Micalizzi Italian ice, and Shirley Temple ice cream.
