The case against a woman accused in the murders of two Fairfield jewelers has been delayed another two weeks.
Nicole Pearce and her boyfriend, Chris DiMeo, are charged with killing Tim and Kim Donnelly in their jewelry store in February of 2005. Pearce's lawyer says after meeting with the judge at Fairfield County Courthouse Tuesday, they decided to delay Pearce's case until DiMeo is extradited from New York to Connecticut. DiMeo is currently serving a life sentence in a New York prison for the murder of a Long Island jeweler.
Pearce's lawyer says the next hearing will be held on February 5. He says he's hoping by that time, DiMeo will have been extradited to Connecticut.
