He may look like an ordinary cat, but to one Fairfield community Lewis the cat is one ferocious feline.
Residents of Sunset Circle say Lewis has six toes on each foot, each with a long claw that he uses as a weapon. They say he has attacked at least half a dozen people and some have had to seek medical treatment. Lewis' actions prompted the town's animal control officer to issue a restraining order against him. Animal control officials say Lewis is the neighborhood bully, but his owner, Ruth Cisero, says he is just misunderstood. She says she is sorry for what happened but wishes people would have just stayed away from Lewis.
Due to the restraining, Lewis is not allowed to leave the house. In addition, Cisero has been charged with failing to comply with the restraining order and reckless endangerment.
