Breakfast bars are an easy food to prepare, and no baking is necessary.
Ingredients
½ Cup Honey
¼ Cup Crunchy Peanut Butter
1 Cup Mini Chocolate Chips, ½ to combine with cereal, ½ melted to dip the bites into
3 Cups Honey Nut Cheerios
1 teaspoon Coconut Oil
Instructions
In a microwave safe bowl mix together the Honey, Peanut Butter and Coconut Oil.
Once incorporated, microwave for 4, 15 second intervals, stirring between each to melt.
In a a medium-sized bowl toss together the Cheerios and half of the mini chocolate chips.
Pour the honey mixture over and stir until well-mixed. On a parchment layered sheet pan drop heaping tablespoons of the mixture. Once all has been portioned. Refrigerate while you melt the chocolate.
Once chocolate is melted, roll the scooped bites into balls and dip half of them into the chocolate. Place back on parchment lined sheet pan and refrigerate to set.
