Parents in Milford are fearing for the safety of their children after police say a woman attempted to abduct an 11-year-old boy walking home from school Tuesday.
Police report the woman pulled over on Judith Drive and asked the boy to help her look for her dog. The boy kept walking and told his parents what happened when he got home. His parents immediately reported the incident to the school. District officials then reported it to Milford police. All parents were alerted of the incident by an automated message and the school held a seminar Wednesday to remind children of the danger of strangers.
Police have released a composite sketch of the suspect. Police also report that she was wearing hospital scrubs with a bird design. Anyone with information is asked to call the Milford Police Department.
