The Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA hosted a pilgrimage to the National Spiritual Center in South Bound Brook Sunday.

An outside photo exhibit showed some of the images that are coming out of the war.

"Ukrainians are very strong people. We are doing everything that we can here in the States to assist those in Ukraine, or if they have escaped, send them some money to live in Poland or whatever until they can hopefully return to their homeland. They really would like to do that," said Lubov Knox who came from Colorado to attend the event.

The service also commemorated the thousands of Ukrainians that have died in the war so far.
