Bronx musicians have found an outlet for their talent on City Island.

The Starving Artist Café and Gallery, located on City Island Avenue, is a place where musicians like Elizabeth Glushko can come to perform. Glushko said she auditioned after finding an advertisement on Craig?s List and appreciates a place to showcase her talent.

Owner Eliott Glick thinks his café is different from any other venue.

?It?s a family business,? said Glick. ?And I treat everyone that comes in here as if they are coming to my house.?

Glick said he hopes to expand the café in the future.
