Adults and kids alike pitched in to clean up a long-standing Bridgeport church and finish a project a loved one never got the opportunity to complete.Gregorio Sanzo built Bridgeport's St. Margaret shrine. After Sanzo passed away two weeks ago, his son got the whole family together to clean up the fountain, a place his father held close to his heart. What began as a solo project turned into a community event. Sanzo says cousins, family members, friends and people he didn?t even know showed up prepared to work.Sanzo says his father?s last words to him were ?take care of the right things.? Sanzo hopes the church cleanup will do exactly that.
