Commuters in Darien have been urged to take part in the ?Train Station Photo Campaign? to document needed repairs. The Connecticut Rail Commuter Council presented the campaign in early July. The council is asking riders to take pictures with their digital cameras or cell phones. The Council president Jim Cameron says he will continue collecting photographs through Labor Day and send them to the governor and the Department of Transportation (DOT). Governor Jodi Rell (R-CT) ordered the DOT to inspect stations after receiving complaints about broken platform lights. The DOT has already responded to complaints about broken stairs and burned out lights.Work and repair is also underway in Stamford. If you notice other areas that need repair, e-mail pictures to the council at fixmystation@camcomm.com.
