Health officials are confirming the first deaths in Connecticut this year from flu and RSV.
A person in their 80s died from flu in Middlesex County.
The first death from RSV was a person also in their 80s from New Haven County.
There were also 67 COVID-19-associated deaths in the state in October.
Officials warn the numbers are likely to increase as we head into colder months.
