Connecticut minimum wage increases to $12 per hour starting today
Connecticut's minimum wage will increase to $12 per hour starting today, according to Gov. Ned Lamont.
The wage increase is the result of a new law Gov. Lamont championed last year that schedules gradual increases in the state’s minimum wage over the next several years.
The minimum wage in Connecticut will increase from the current rate of $11.00 per hour to $12.00.
The minimum wage will increase every year until June 1, 2023 when it hits $15.00 per hour.
