Connecticut non-profits seeking volunteers for July 25th food-packing event

Local Rotary Clubs are asking for community help with a large-scale meal-packaging event.

They say more than a hundred volunteers are needed to assemble and package 86,000 meals at the Wakeman Boys & Girls Club next month.

The items will go to food pantries across four communities.

The event will take place July 25th at the Wakeman Boys & Girls Club at 595 Madison Avenue in Bridgeport.

It is organized by Rotary Clubs from Bridgeport, Fairfield, Monroe and Trumbull
