The state of Connecticut and CIC Health are giving Bridgeport residents a new place to get tested for coronavirus.
The new Seaside Park testing location will let up to 500 people per day take the self-administered nasal swab.
It's a drive-thru, but one lane will accommodate walk-ups. While results can take up to 72 hours, some patients tell News 12 they had gotten their status by the next day.
Site supervisor Jason Bogden says with positive cases and testing capacity both on the rise, a COVID-19 test should be part of your weekly routine.
CIC Health is also opening mass testing sites in Hartford and New Haven, and says they hope to have more on the way.
