Connecticut State Capitol celebrates Polish Day

This year is the 34th year of celebrating it at the state Capitol.

Polish Day was marked with a celebration Friday at the Connecticut State Capitol to honor noteworthy Polish and Polish-Americans from around the state.
This year is the 234th Anniversary of the Polish Constitution and the 34th year of celebrating it at the state Capitol.
"We are home to one of the biggest Polish-American communities in the entire country," said Lt Gov. Susan Bysiewicz There are more than 285,000 Polish-Americans living in our beautiful state."
The Polish national anthem was played and traditional Polish food was served during the ceremony.
