State residents will honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on Monday with events throughout various cities in Connecticut. Fairfield will hold a community day to honor MLK at the Fairfield Museum from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. with free admission for all who attend. The Offutt Education Center of Lachat Town Farms will hold an MLK service program from 11 a.m. Through 2 p.m. Bridgeport youth are set to honor MLK through a musical movement performance at the Klein Memorial Auditorium.
