CT DEEP, Worthington Industries announce results of cylinder recycling pilot program

Nealy 2,000 propane camping cylinders have been collected and recycled at Hammonasset Beach State Park Campground.

The Connecticut DEEP and Worthington Industries have announced the results of the Cylinder Recycling Pilot Program.
Nealy 2,000 propane camping cylinders have been collected and recycled at Hammonasset Beach State Park Campground.
Worthington Industries ran the program. After the success of the Hammonasset pilot, they plan on bringing it back next year.
DEEP and Worthington Industries say they hope for the program to run statewide by 2025.
