Connecticut leaders and lawmakers are calling President Donald Trump's COVID-19 diagnosis "a wakeup call" for the world.
Gov. Ned Lamont says he has already made changes and is instituting a formal testing policy for his staff.
He says himself and Lt. Governor Susan Bysiewicz will stop appearing at indoor events together for the time being.
Connecticut's senators, meanwhile, are calling on the government to be completely transparent with the public, not only about the president's condition, but the status of contact tracing within the White House.
