State lawmakers gave final approval Thursday to a measure guaranteeing long-term care residents access to virtual visits with loved ones.
As News 12 has previously reported, visits with family members were heavily restricted due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Other bills approved include a ballot question to change the state constitution to allow anyone to vote by mail. The earliest voters would get the question, though, is November 2024 because it will have to pass again in the 2023 legislative session.
The bottle deposit was also raised to 10 cents.
