The CEO of Pfizer says there's a possibility people are going to need a third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine - and Connecticut officials are not surprised, as they believe it could be treated like the annual flu shot.
Pfizer says that a third dose may be needed at the six to 12-month mark. Officials say that different variants developing year to year could require an annual shot.
