Connecticut voters will have two ballot questions to consider at the polls on Tuesday that are potential amendments to the state's Constitution.
Ballot question No. 1 would establish what is called a transportation lock box. The state already has a special transportation fund but in the past, the state has dipped into it to deal with other budget deficits.
Ballot question No. 2 would require a public hearing before the General Assembly sells any state-owned land. The amendment would also require a two-thirds vote from both chambers to dispose of Department of Agriculture land, like state parks.
Proponents say this is a bipartisan issue because all residents are land owners.
