Darien police are reminding residents to lock their car doors after a string of burglaries over the weekend.
Officers say the thieves may have come from the New York because investigators found a stolen Lexus with Empire State plates in the same area as the burglaries.
Police say the Lexus was abandoned on Locust Hill Road, where at least 10 other cars were broken into early Saturday morning. All the targeted cars were unlocked, police say.
