Brand-new kitchen faucets and new flooring are just some simple fixes to get your home ready to sell.
Vinny Campbell is the store manager at Home Depot on Gun Hill Road, and he says that the housing market is currently driving more people to take on home improvement projects to make their property more attractive for potential buyers.
“They are using the equity to upgrade their homes, which is a smart move at this time you can get it, it's a perfect timing we continue to see that impact,” said Campbell.
He says a number of DIY projects consist of small changes that can make a big impact, like repainting your walls.
Replacing doorknobs, cabinet handles, shower heads and other home fixtures can refresh your decor.
New lighting can also brighten up a dull area. Experts can also recommend decluttering your living spaces to make the interior of your home appear bigger to potential buyers.
Campbell says that for those who have a little extra, they can opt for a cabinet makeover.
Experts say these easy changes go a long way to transform your home without breaking the bank.
