The results for the special election in Stamford for the state House of Representatives are in.
The Stamford Registrar's Office says Democrat Corey Paris beat Republican JD Ospina by a count of 730 to 225.
Paris will replace Democrat Patricia Billie Miller, who recently won election to the state Senate.
