The candidates for U.S. Senate are gearing up for the final week before the Democratic primary.
Both Senator Joe Lieberman (D-CT) and challenger Ned Lamont, of Greenwich, are in southwestern Connecticut Monday to drum up support.
Lamont supporters are hosting a senior citizen's dance at Seaside Park in Bridgeport. As many as 300 people are expected to attend the event put together by the Bridgeport's Senior Services. Lamont took the opportunity to talk to what many say is a very important voting group, and many seniors offered their support and thanked him for running.
