10h agoA young woman has died following an apparent hit-and-run in Stratford.
Police say Michelle Rodriguez, 19, was found in the road near St. Michael's Cemetery on Stratford Avenue just after midnight Saturday.
Rodriguez was taken to Bridgeport Hospital, where she later died from her injuries.
Police say evidence recovered at the scene led them to a suspect, Troy Watley.
Watley now faces several charges including negligent homicide.
He is currently being held on $100,000 bond.
