A man was stabbed at East 161st Street and River Avenue Monday afternoon, according to EMS officials.
It happened around 2:30 p.m. near Yankee Stadium in a subway station elevator.
An altercation between a young man and woman and another man, who appeared to be in his 60s, happened on an M98 bus, according to witnesses.
They say it spilled out onto the street and moved into the elevator before resulting in the stabbing.
The older man was rushed to a hospital.
Witnesses say it was the young woman who stabbed the older man. The suspects then fled.
