A federal appeals court Wednesday rejected a lawsuit that would have blocked the Federal Aviation Administration's plan to route more planes over southwestern Connecticut, but the residents who proposed the appeal, are vowing to not give up their fight against the FAA.

As part of the plan, air traffic has grown in the number of jets flying to LaGuardia, JFK and Newark Liberty airports. Some angered grassroots group members, like Pamela Kearns, are tracking and logging passing planes. ?It's already unpleasant to live here. I love my house. I love my neighborhood. It's a wonderful area but I get into bed at night and I have many nights [when] three or four jets scream overhead.?

Attorney General Richard Blumenthal says he'll also continue this fight. Kearns says their fight is about quality of life, not just noise but pollution too.
