Organizers of Saturday's Wave for Mental Health and Suicide Prevention said the event in Fairfield helps to build life-saving awareness.
They said proceeds from the event will be donated to Renew Counseling, with the mission to support uninsured patients with access to care.
"Suicide is, unfortunately, on the rise. Statistics, they're a couple years behind, but every single year that we do statistics, they're higher all the time," said Counselor Tamara Tarrant. "People are feeling life is not worth living, and it's a lie. Tomorrow is always going to be better, and there are people that are here for them. We want them to know they can get help, and that's what we do at Renew and Revive."
The event also featured a car show, touch-a-truck and more.
